I had a journal in which I wrote love letters to myself on a regular basis. That was awesome! I think it’s time to do that again.
As someone who has been a relationship for 5 years, I felt the sentence you wrote about wanting romance but also appreciating the joy and liberation of being single. I miss that degree of selfishness at times.
